thefifthgeneration.co.uk (the "site") is owned and operated by Multima Limited, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 14963980. Our registered office is Swatton Barn, Badbury, Swindon, Wiltshire, SN4 0EU. You can contact us at hello@multima.co.uk.
Using the site
By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree to them, please do not use the site. We may change these terms from time to time; the version on this page is the one that applies.
You may use the site for your own information and to contact us. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute or exploit any part of the site for commercial purposes without our written consent, other than sharing links to it.
Content and intellectual property
All content on the site, including text, the five generations narrative, the M's framework, illustrations, page design and code, is owned by Multima Limited or licensed to us, and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. "The Fifth Generation" and the associated positioning are trade names of Multima Limited. Nothing on the site grants you any rights in that content beyond viewing it.
Availability
We aim to keep the site available but do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error free. We may suspend, withdraw or change all or any part of the site without notice.
Links to other sites
Where the site links to third party websites, those links are provided for your information only. We have no control over their content and accept no responsibility for them.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site or its content. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

Multima Limited is the data controller for personal data collected through the site. Contact details are in the terms of use above.
What we collect and why
When you email us. If you contact us using the email link on the site, we receive your name, email address and whatever you choose to tell us. We use this to reply to you and, where relevant, to arrange the keynote, workshop or support you have asked about. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and, where it leads to work, taking steps to enter into a contract with you.
When you become a founding subscriber. If you complete the subscriber form, we collect your name, email address, the name of your firm and its approximate size. We use these to send you The Fifth Generation content and updates. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you give when you submit the form and can withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email or by emailing us. The list is stored on Cloudflare's infrastructure and may also be held in our Notion workspace for managing it. We use Cloudflare Turnstile on the form to block automated sign ups; it checks your browser without setting tracking cookies.
When you browse the site. The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Cloudflare processes technical information such as your IP address and browser type in order to deliver the site securely and to protect it against abuse. This is done on the basis of our legitimate interest in running a secure website. We do not use this information to identify you.
We do not run advertising, we do not sell personal data, and we do not use your data for automated decision making.
Who we share it with
Your data may be handled by the providers we use to run the business, such as our email provider and our hosting provider, acting on our instructions. Some of these providers may process data outside the UK; where they do, transfers are protected by UK adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses. We will otherwise only disclose personal data where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Email correspondence is kept for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any resulting engagement, and then for a further period to meet our legal and accounting obligations, after which it is deleted.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask for access to the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@multima.co.uk. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
